Dr. Miller is a board Certified Orthodontist with over 35 years of experience specializing in orthodontics for adults and children. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Towson State University and received his Dental Degree from the University of Maryland. He completed his orthodontic training at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Dr. Miller founded Orthodontic Associates in 1984. Because of his great interest in orthodontic research, Dr. Miller is a Benefactor of the American Association of Orthodontist Foundation (research organization). He has encouraged the orthodontic community to use an "evidence based" treatment approach. Dr. Miller is also a member of the Circle of Excellence (by invitation only), American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists, Maryland State Dental Association, Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, Maryland State Dental Association, and the Baltimore County Dental Association.
Dr. Miller's knowledge is frequently sought out by other orthodontists regarding difficult cases. He speaks both nationally and internationally about the use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (3D x-rays) to improve orthodontic treatment planning and outcome.
Dr. Tina Mahmoudi is a Board Certified Orthodontist with a passion for creating attractive, healthy, and long-lasting smiles. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) where she majored in Biological Sciences and then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD).
While attending UMSOD, she was awarded the Harry E. Kelsey Award for Professional Demeanor. Following graduation from dental school, she spent an additional three years at University of Maryland School of Dentistry to specialize in Orthodontics and obtained her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics as well as a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Mahmoudi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics; she is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Maryland State Society of Orthodontics, and Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontics. She is Invisalign® certified and stays up-to-date on latest techniques including Lingual and Clear Braces, Accelerated Tooth Movement, Soft Tissue Laser Surgery, and Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs).
Dr. Wray is a Board Certified Orthodontist and is dedicated to helping her patients achieve the smiles of their dreams. She is up-to-date with current orthodontic techniques and has completed Invisalign certification and Incognito certification (a technique using braces hidden behind the teeth).
A Florida native, Dr. Wray received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a major in Biomedical Sciences. She attended dental school at the University of Florida College of Dentistry where she completed an advanced education honors program in orthodontics. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
After receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, Dr. Wray attended a 3-year orthodontic residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where she earned her Certificate in Orthodontics as well as a Master’s degree in Cellular and Structural Biology.
Dr. Wray is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists.Dr. Wray and her husband share a love of teeth. He is currently serving in the US Navy as a periodontist. They reside in Montgomery County with their dog, Lola. Dr. Wray enjoys traveling, baking, and running.
Dr. Abrahams was raised in Ontario, Canada. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario where she majored in Biology. She moved to the United States in 1991 to attend dental school at The Ohio State University. While attending The Ohio State University, Dr. Abrahams received the prestigious Thomas P. Hinman Student Scholarship Award, the William R. Wallace Dental Research Scholarship Award and the Dean’s List Award. Dr. Abrahams has also published original research supported by the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation.
Dr. Abrahams received her orthodontic training at The Ohio State University as well as a Master’s in Oral Biology. She continues to keep up-to-date on all current techniques, including Invisalign® and Incognito™ certification.
Dr. Abrahams is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists Foundation (research organization), American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Mid-Atlantic Orthodontic Society, Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Michael Pantos attended Rutgers University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology in 1986, graduating with High Honors.
He then went on to complete his Dental training at Fairleigh S. Dickinson Jr., College of Dental Medicine, where he received his D.M.D. degree in 1990, serving as Class President and graduating as Class Valedictorian.
Dr. Pantos continued his Dental Education at the State University of New York at Buffalo, specializing in the field of Orthodontics, earning a Certificate of Proficiency in Orthodontics in 1992. He continues to stay current in the field by completing Continuing Education courses approved by the American Dental Association. His philosophy is “to provide individualized Orthodontic care unique to each patient’s needs.”
Dr. Pantos is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and is a member of the following organizations: American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, Maryland State Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Howard County Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Fraternity.
Dr. Katelyn Owen fell in love with orthodontics while shadowing Dr. Miller during her college summer breaks and is excited to be back at Orthodontic Associates to create ever-lasting smiles. Dr. Owen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bucknell University and graduated Summa Cum Laude while also competing on the Division 1 lacrosse team. She then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2018. Following dental school, she moved to Pittsburgh (but remained a faithful Ravens fan) and obtained a Masters of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics from Seton Hill University.
Dr. Katelyn is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists and the Maryland State Dental Association. She is Invisalign certified and up to date on the latest techniques, such as Temporary Anchorage Devices and Soft Tissue Laser Surgery. She is Board eligible after successfully passing the written board exam.
