"I am currently going through chemo, and I had no idea how hard it would be to manage treatment while also having braces. My mouth became so sensitive that brushing and even water flossing was painful. The wires were sticking the back of my mouth, and my gums were bleeding every time I brushed. Something just had to give.Maria at the front desk, Terri the assistant, and Dr. Anna were incredibly compassionate through it all. I called hoping to do a walk-in because I was struggling so much, and they not only made time for me, but even stayed late to help. They listened to all of my concerns, gave me options, and treated me with so much kindness and understanding.I’m beyond grateful for their compassion during such a difficult time. I came in without an appointment, urgently needing help with my internal retainer after an issue at a dentist visit earlier that day. Even though they were fully booked, Kristie overheard what was going on and brought me right back. "Dr. Abraham is THEE BEST orthodontist I’ve ever worked with in my life. I had braces before and my last orthodontist was nowhere near as kind and empathetic as Dr. A. She truly loves her job and is so considerate of her patients. I’m so glad I went to her for my third and final opinion. Other orthodontists in the laurel area were quoting me high prices and were forcing me to remove teeth prior to treatment. Dr. Abraham saved ALL OF MY TEETH! And her treatment plan was reasonably priced. I’m about 10 months into my treatment and my teeth have improved so much. Dr. Abraham not only is fixing my teeth, she’s fixed my confidence as well. I will be referring anyone and everyone to her office. She has such a beautiful spirit and I wouldn’t trade her for the world! Thinking that I could just get a new one, my dentist told me my teeth had shifted (I had stopped wearing my upper retainer years ago). My dentist wanted to put me in Invisaliners at $6000.00 up front. Nope not going to happen. A google search landed me at Orthodontic Associates about 15 minutes from where I live. This is where I met Dr. Jeffery Miller and his wonderful staff. Called made an appointment, lucky me they had an opening on the day of my appointment. They set me up with a small down payment and a monthly payment plan. I left out of there in braces again after over 30 years. One year and a month later I am out of my braces. Dr. Miller was very kind, knowledgeable and always pleasant. The staff is top notch and professional. "My teeth were a risky case when I first came into the office. My adult canines were impacted in my soft palate, and I was already in my late 20s. I'd been warned against waiting so long to get orthodontics since with age, it generally gets harder to move the teeth. The angles of those canines and the tight spaces in my jaw also compounded the risk, but when I went in for the consultation, Dr. Miller informed me that I was just on the cusp of being able to move them. I put my faith in him and boy did it pay off! It took a bit longer than eatimated (my canines were quite stubborn!!) but I'm so thrilled today to walk out with beautifully straight teeth and more importantly, my adult canines in place!!I also need to shout out Dr. Panthos, Dr. Wray and honestly all of the technicians for this feat. My son had gone to them in 2019, and we were pleased with his results, so I decided to return for myself.
